As a license professional counselor, Angie Boles works in a holistic approach. Angie feels the mind, body, and soul operate in harmony to create balance within you. She believes when one or all of the elements are not in sync stress, frustration, and other emotional turmoil may appear. When trauma happens, the mind goes into survival mode and all these systems act together to protect you. These systems will reactivate as long as you are triggered by stimulus that are similar to the trauma keeping you in survival mode. In therapy, Angie will help you identify the triggers and help you cope with the present and work through the past trauma. Angie Boles has years of experience working with a variety of therapies to help you identify the trauma and apply the techniques to allow you to heal. Angie works with a variety of mental disorders. Angie will match the therapy to the client's needs or situation. In addition, Angie has received hours of continuing education in child abuse, trauma therapy, domestic violence, and more. In addition, Angie has supervised many counselors in her field. Also, Angie is working on becoming a certified forensic psychometric which will allow her to offer a variety  of assessments to her clients for a better diagnosis and treatment plans. Together Angie will work with her clients to identify solutions that works best for them. In efforts for clients to find the best solutions for their presenting issues, Angie will encourage clients to be active and work towards a mentally healthier life. Counseling process is not always easy, but Angie will travel that journey with you.
